Hermann Oppenheim (January 1, 1858, Warburg - May 5, 1919, Berlin) was one of the leading Neurologists in Germany.
He visited the universities in Berlin, Göttingen and Bonn, and started his carreer at the Charite -Hospital in Berlin as an assistant of Carl Westphal .
Oppenheim opened a successful private-hospital in 1891 and wrote a book about nervous diseases in 1894 which soon became a standard in his profession.
