Heartland Flyer

Amtrak's Heartland Flyer is a relatively new 209-mile (336-km) route between Fort Worth, Texas and Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

After a 20 year absence of passenger rail service between Oklahoma and Texas, the return of service via the Heartland Flyer has been very successful. With ridership reaching up to 70,000 passengers per year, the Flyer is among the most profitable routes for Amtrak.
