Gwyneth Jones (novelist)

Gwyneth Jones is a British writer born in 1952. She also writes for young people under the name of Ann Halamm. Her works are mostly science fiction and near future high fantasy with strong themes of gender and feminism. She is the winner of two World Fantasy Awards, BSFA short story award, Children of the Night Award from the Dracula Society, Arthur C. Clarke Award and co-winner of the Tiptree award . She coined the term "gynoid."

Gwyneth Jones lives in Brighton, England, with her family, cat, and gold fish.
