Gentianales

Gentianaceae (gentian family)
Apocynaceae (dogbane family)
Gelsemiaceae
Loganiaceae (logania family)
Rubiaceae (coffee family)

The Gentianales are an order of flowering plants, included within the asterid group of dicotyledons. Families typical of newer classification systems are given at right.

Under the older Cronquist system, the Saccifoliaceae and Asclepiadaceae families were also included here. The Rubiaceae Family was placed in a separate order, and the Gelsemiaceae Family was included within the Loganiaceae.
