Franco Dragone

Franco Dragone is an Italian born director. Franco's visibility greatly increased in 1999 after he directed and introduced the cutting-edge Cirque Du Soleil production "Mystère" at the Treasure Island hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada. This production changed the nature of Production shows in Las Vegas. Cirque Du Soleil benefited greatly from Franco's work, while he only directed one other show in Las Vegas, "O" in 1998, to many he was Cirque Du Soleil in Las Vegas.

Prior to joining Cirque, Franco worked as a director for theater and film.

Franco directed 10 productions for Cirque from 1985 to 1998. He used this period of time to merge, in an unique way, theater and the circus. In 2000 he formed his own company called Dragone .

In 2003, the Dragon created "A New Day" staring Céline Dion opened at "Cesears Palace" and continued his association with Las Vegas.

In 2005 Dragone will debut another show, his fourth, on the Las Vegas Strip with the opening of Le Rêve at the Wynn Las Vegas.
