Francisco Alejandro Gutierrez, also known as Franky Gee (born 19 February 1962, Havana, Cuba) is a former American soldier who is now the frontman for the German Europop group Captain Jack.
Though born in Cuba, his family emigrated to Mallorca, Spain, then to Miami, Florida when he was young. After college, he was obligated to join the US Army, and was stationed in Germany. While there, he began his career as a disc jockey, and stayed on after the end of his Army enlistment, forming the group Captain Jack in 1995 as a protest of his years in the military.
His original stage name as a disc jockey was Wildside, and he still uses this name on his solo material, which has been featured in Dance Dance Revolution.
Gutierrez has three siblings: Roberto, Mary, and Carry.
