Flidais

In Irish mythology Flidais is a woodland goddess whose chariot is drawn by deer.

She is said to have been the mother of Bé Chuille and Bé Téite , and sometimes of Fand. The legendary High King of Ireland Nia Segamain is also said to be her son. Her lovers include the High King Adamair and the Ulster hero Fergus mac Róich. Her affair with Fergus is the subject of oral tradition in County Mayo.

She is known by the epithet Foltchaín ("beautiful hair").
