Overview
While the Washington D.C. Metropolitan area has the highest concentration of Ethiopians in the U.S., Minnesota is considered to have one of the largest communities in the United States. It is impossible to point to survey or published data but it is generally accepted that there are anywhere between 10,000 to 15,000 Ethiopians in the area. Similar to other immigrant communities, a great majority of Ethiopians reside in the Twin Cities metropolitan area.
