EIN can stand for:

1. Employer Identification Number , a number assigned by the United States Internal Revenue Service to all employers.
2. Ein, a dog in the anime series Cowboy Bebop
3. Ein means "a" in german. Example: "Ein Hund" is "A dog". Not to be confused with Eins which means "one".
4. Ein also means "a" and "one" in Faroese in the male and female grammatical sexes but not in the neutor. Example "Ein hundur".
