Edward Phillips Oppenheim (1866 - 1946) was an English novelist, a major and successful writer of genre fiction including thrillers. He published around 150 books. He used also the pseudonym Anthony Partridge.
He was born in London. He expected to go into his father's leather business, but became a professional writer after that was sold.
