Earl of Anglesey

The title of Earl of Anglesey was created several times in the Peerage of England, first in 1623 (extinct 1661) and again in 1661 (extinct 1761).

Earls of Anglesey, First Creation (1623)

  • Christopher Villiers, 1st Earl of Anglesey (d. 1630)
  • Charles Villiers, 2nd Earl of Anglesey (d. 1661)

Earls of Anglesey, Second Creation (1661)

All but the last of these, and various other family members, is believed to be buried in the crypt of St Peter's Old Parish Church, Farnborough, Hampshire - (see list of early burials).
