Dysphasia is a speech disorder in which there is an impairment of speech and of comprehension of speech. The word comes from the Latin dys- (impairment) and the Greek phasia (speech).
In the International Statistical Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems ICD-10, dysphasia belongs to group F80.
