The Democratic Party is a political party in the Cook Islands.
At the last elections, 7 september 2004, the party won 47.2 % of popular votes and 12 out of 25 seats. It is the largest party, also know as the Democratic Alliance Party. It is currently led by prime minister Jim Marurai, who succeeded co-partisan Robert Woonton in 2002.
