David Bernard Steinman (June 11, 1886 - August 21, 1960) was American engineer and the designer of the Mackinac Bridge.
Born in Khomsk, Brest, Belarus, he emigrated to the USA with his family in 1890. In 1909 he received a Master of Arts from Columbia University and a Doctorate in 1911.
