Körös (Romanian: Criş) is the name of a river in eastern Hungary. It is formed at the confluence of the rivers Fehér-Körös (Romanian: Crişul Alb) and Fekete-Körös (Romanian: Crişul Negru) near the city Gyula. The river Sebes-Körös (Romanian: Crişul Repede) flows into the river Körös near the city Gyoma . All three rivers have their source in Romania. The Körös flows into the river Tisza near the city Csongrád.
Known in antiquity as Crisus, Grisia or Gerasus river.
