Crenshaw Boulevard (also known as Crenshaw district in the city limits of Los Angeles) is a complete, straight north-south street that stretches from Wilshire Boulevard on the north to Palos Verdes , south of Torrance. It is about halfway between the Harbor Freeway and the San Diego Freeway.
"The Jungle", a small, unofficial, locally known part of South Central Los Angeles, is also located along Crenshaw Boulevard.
In 2003, it was proposed to change Crenshaw Boulevard to Bradley Boulevard in honor of Tom Bradley, a late Los Angeles mayor. The proposal failed.
