Compendium Saxonis

Compendium Saxonis (also known as Abbreviatio Saxonis) is a summery located in Chronica Jutensis. It contains a summery of Saxo’s Gesta Danorum, about one-forth the size of the original. Written in Latin.

The original Manuscript is lost, however it survives in four different handwritten copies, about a hundred years younger. One of them is written by a Monk, from Odense, in 1431.
