Chiropractic

The term chiropractic is used variously to refer to

• chiropractic medicine, an alternative medical strategy using manipulation of the spine to treat ailments;

• the practice thereof (sometimes called chiropractice);

• the practitioners thereof, called chiropractors or sometimes chiropractitioners; and

• the associated holistic, vitalist philosophy.
