Charles Martin Smith is an American actor.
He was born on October 30, 1953 in Van Nuys, California. Smith has appeared in American Graffiti playing 'Toad', The Buddy Holly Story and Starman among many others. He also starred in and narrated Never Cry Wolf.
He also has production, directing and writing credits in a career that has spanned over 35 years.
