Central European Summer Time

Central European Summer Time (CEST) is one of the names of UTC+2 time zone, 2 hours ahead of Coordinated Universal Time. It is used as a summer daylight saving time in some European and North African countries. It applies between 0100 UTC on the last Sunday in March, and 0100 UTC on the last Sunday in October. During the winter, they use Central European Time instead.

Central European Summer Time used to be also known as Middle European Summer Time (MEST).
