Calder Valley is a constituency represented in the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom. It represents an area of West Yorkshire close to Halifax, in the Calderdale district.
The seat was created in 1983, mainly from the previous Sowerby constituency. Donald Thompson was its Conservative Member of Parliament until 1997, when Christine McCafferty took the seat for Labour.
