CKMI is the callsign for the Global Television Network's station in Quebec. Officially, the station is licensed to Quebec City, but its actual operations are in Montreal. The station has transmitters in Montreal (CKMI-TV-1, channel 46), Quebec City (CKMI-TV, channel 20) and Sherbrooke (CKMI-TV-2, channel 11).
The station was a CBC affiliate on channel 5 from its founding in 1957 until it joined Global in 1997. The CBC took over channel 5 in Quebec City for its CBVE-TV .
The two main shows that are produced at this station are This Morning Live and Global News editions, at 18:00 and 23:00.
