Brian K. Vaughan is a comic book writer. He was born in 1976 in Cleveland, Ohio, USA, and currently lives in San Diego, California. Brian started writing comics professionally in late 1996 when he wrote Cable #43, but has since progressed through the ranks to become one of the most sought after writers in the field, having written a number of mainstream characters from Batman to the X-Men. Brian has also created his own works, including the cult hits Y: The Last Man for DC Comics' Vertigo imprint and Ex Machina for WildStorm.
