Bishop's University

Bishop's University is an English language undergraduate liberal arts university located in Lennoxville, Quebec, Canada. It is one of the smaller universities in Canada; there were 2,100 full time undergraduate students enrolled in the university in 2003. It was founded in 1843.

In addition to its arts and sciences programs, Bishop's also has a business school (the Williams School of Business and Economics) and a School of Education.

The Bishop's campus spans 550 acres (2 km²) at the junction of the St. Francis and Massawippi Rivers. It is located in the Eastern Townships section of Quebec, a region that is known for its skiing and other outdoor recreation activities.

Bishop's Canadian Interuniversity Sport teams are known as the Bishop's Gaiters.
