The Banat Krajina was a section of the Habsburg Monarchy's Military Frontier (Krajina) located in the Banat (now split between Serbia and Montenegro and Romania).
The Banat Krajina comprised the Petrovaradin Regiment which was further subdivised into Serbian, ethnic German (Volksdeutscher) and Romanian sections.
