...Baby One More Time is the first album by American pop star Britney Spears, released on January 12, 1999 on Jive Records.
Britney's 1999 debut made her a household name. Her first single, the title track, debuted at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100; simultaneously, the album debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top 200. Her second single "Sometimes" jumped straight into the top 40 peaking at #21. This was followed by "(You Drive Me) Crazy," which peaked at #10. In 2000, she released two singles, one a European-only release ("Born To Make You Happy"), and the other, an American-only release ("From the Bottom of My Broken Heart"). "Born To Make You Happy" topped the UK Singles Chart in January 2000, and "From The Bottom of My Broken Heart" peaked just outside of the Top 10 at #14 on the Hot 100 that February. Baby One More Time has sold over 10.5 million copies in the US and has been certified by the RIAA as 14x platinum. Worldwide, the album is the all-time best-selling by a teenager, with over 22 million units sold.
