Aviv Geffen (אביב גפן, b. 1973) is an Israeli pop star. Geffen is best known in his home country for controversial lyrics and behavior; in the past, he has refused to serve in the IDF, and his is also known for an androgynous appearance reminiscent of David Bowie. Apart from a 12-year solo career, Geffen is also a member of Blackfield, a collaboration with Porcupine Tree frontman Steven Wilson.
In 1995, Geffen performed at a peace rally at Tel Aviv, where Israeli prime minister Yitzhak Rabin was assassinated.
He is the nephew of former Israeli foreign minister Moshe Dayan.
