Andjety

In Egyptian mythology, Andjety (also Anezti, Anedjti) is an underworld god worshipped particularly in Busiris. One of his titles was “Bull of Vultures,” which honors Andjety as a funerary god. The embodiment of sovereignty and the Underworld, he was the forerunner of Osiris. The patron of domestic animals, the wife of Andjety was Meskhenet or Anat. Andjety was pictured as a man holding a shepherd’s crook, wearing a high conical crown decorated with two feathers.
