Amy Davidson (born February 15, 1979 in Phoenix, Arizona) is an American actress, best known for her role as Kerry Hennessy in 8 Simple Rules.
A native of Phoenix, Arizona, Amy soon discovered an ambition for entertaining as a young child. Her parents enrolled her in a dance class at an early age, and she performed on stage numerous times before eventually moving on to acting. Amy soon began doing commercial work and mentored with acting coach Gene Fowler , who encouraged her to move to Los Angeles, California.
Upon arriving in Los Angeles, Amy landed a role as Cammie Morton in the Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen series, So Little Time. She has also guest-starred on the drama series Judging Amy, and appeared in the movie The Truth About Jane. Most recently, Amy wrapped production on the Hallmark Channel original movie Annie's Point , opposite Betty White and Richard Thomas.
In her spare time, Amy enjoys working out, hiking, snow skiing and attending classes at Cardio Barre, a workout studio where exercisers can experience an aerobic class done at a ballet barre. Amy currently resides in Los Angeles, where she recently purchased a new home.
