The Alma-Ata Tower in the kasachischen capital Almaty was built between 1975 and 1983. Into the vertical Kragarmkonstruktion established tower 371.5 m are high and are on the mountain Kok Teebe (kasachisch for: greener hill). The tower has two operating projectiles on 146 m and 252 m height over two the elevators is attainable. For public traffic it is however not opened. The tower of the architects Terziev, Savcðenko, Akimov and Ostroumov was built. Since Almaty is particularly earthquake-endangered, the TV tower was designed in such a way that it was to bear earth impacts up to a strength of 10 on the judge scale.
