Al Na'ir (also known as Al Nair or Alnair, from the Arabic meaning "the light" or "the bright one") is the brightest star in the constellation Grus. Al Na'ir is 101 light years distant from Earth, possesses an apparent magnitude of +1.73 and belongs to the spectral classification B7.
