Airolo is a village in Switzerland. Located in Leventina valley in the canton of Ticino, it is well-known for being the town on the southern flank of the St. Gotthard Pass (2108 m) and the St. Gotthard Tunnel, with the motorway tunnel forming part of the A2 national highway.
Airolo is also a small ski-resort with 30km of prepared slopes.
